Exterior:
The exterior of this Piper Archer II is original and in decent condition. While there are areas of chipping paint along the leading edges and near the cowl, the finish still retains some shine. This aircraft presents a great opportunity for a new owner to enjoy as-is or refresh the paint to their preference.
Interior:
The interior of this Piper Archer II is original and in decent condition for its age. The carpet has some normal staining, and the side panels show typical wear. However, the seats remain in good condition with no rips or tears, making for a comfortable cabin ready for its next owner
Ownership History:
This well-maintained Piper Archer II has been owned by the same gentleman since 1985! Based in Virginia, he kept the aircraft in excellent condition, even placing it on leaseback for a time. As his interests changed, he decided to pass it along to a new owner.
Damage History:
The aircraft had a forced landing from fuel exhaustion in 2002. The landing was uneventful but while trying to move it from the highway, the pilot taxied into a metal street sign causing damage to the left wing. The left wing was replaced. See log entry for details.
Logbook Condition:
Complete and well detailed since new
In-flight Report:
“I flew this aircraft back from Virginia and did not have any issues with it! The engine ran great, and I did not burn any oil. The 530 functioned properly and made navigating out of the SFRA easy.” Albert, Pilot
