Does AOS have a mechanic to do pre-buy inspections?
No, we do not have an in-house mechanic. This allows our customers to choose a mechanic that they are comfortable with. This gives the customer peace of mind that it their aircraft was inspected by an impartial mechanic with their best interest in mind.

We do not deliver aircraft. There are a few local, independent pilots that we can refer you to if you would like, please ask.
Is my deposit refundable?
AOS requires a $2000 deposit to secure an airplane. This allows 14 days for a customer to complete a pre purchase inspection and fund. If customer inspects the airplane and decides not to purchase the plane, their deposit is 100% refundable. If a customer puts a deposit on the airplane and simply changes their mind prior to a pre purchase inspection, then customer will only receive 50% of their deposit back.
Can I get a prebuy inspection?
Yes, we highly recommend customers having an independent 3rd party inspect the plane. While we cannot take aircraft out of the state for prebuy inspections, we can take them to a mechanic of your choosing within our area. You are also more than welcome to bring your mechanic to our hangar to inspect the aircraft. AOS has most equipment needed to complete an inspection, including an air compressor to do compressions checks.
